My bench was built using two  solid core doors (used $15), some 2x4s and some 1x4s.   Not shown in the picture are braces between the two doors. This helped tie the two benches together and made them much more rigid.

Sand Blasters,  

Both are home-made boxes with a siphon feed gun.  

Turned out to be to big to store in my garage so I got rid of it. Guess I need a bigger garage.

I was desperate to blast the tail wheel so I built this with stuff I had lying around the garage. It consists of a blue plastic tub, I think its 20 gal. Hole cut in lid is covered with Plexiglas protected by Saran Wrap plastic film. Duct tape it on the lid.  I used my welding gloves as they are the only thing I had.  They actually work well at sealing the holes when the vacuum cleaner is attached.  Cut a hole high in the back for the hose to attach to it.  I loose a bit of blast media but oh well.
